Emergency Exit Lights

Emergency (EM lights) and exit lights play a crucial role in providing essential illumination during power outages, enabling both employees and customers to locate safe exits efficiently. These lights offer clear guidance to building occupants, directing them towards the quickest and safest evacuation route, while illuminating other general fire safety features such as manual call points and fire extinguishers. It is important to note that emergency and exit lights are mandated by Illinois codes and standards to ensure that buildings comply with fire safety requirements, emphasizing the significance of their presence in any commercial or public facility.

Conducted through an examination of the unit, our inspector will check for physical damage, including exposed wires or loose parts. Our Red Star Inspector will determine whether the lighting system is in service and satisfactory condition in accordance with NFPA standards.
